CROWDS OF VISITORS FLOCKED EURASIA PACKAGING 2012 FAIR

Eurasia Packaging 2012 Istanbul Fair opened its doors for the 18th time at TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center September 20-23, 2012. Along with Istanbul Food Tech Fair, it is organized in an area of 90,000 m2 with 11 halls and is the third largest fair in its field in Europe.

EURASIA PACKAGING FAIR GREW 17% THIS YEAR 

Eurasia Packaging 2012 Istanbul Fair, which has finger on the pulse of the sector and will include all product groups, opened with 1081 companies and company representatives this year. The fair, which grew 17% compared to the last year, is a platform that responds to the dynamism and development of the sector domestically and internationally.  

Eurasia Packaging Istanbul Fair brought more than 5,000 foreign buyers together with their participants. The fair attracted great attention from North Africa, the Middle East, Caucasia and Balkan countries.

Procurement Committees from 20 Countries were Hosted

The fair brought the qualified visitors together with the participants on a strong platform enriched with visitors  from more than 80 countries as well as purchase committees from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Croatia, Iraq, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Macedonia, Egypt, Moldova, Russia, Serbia, Tunisia, Ukraine, Jordan and Greece. The fair accelerated the packaging sector in a period when seeking of new markets and global competition gained critical importance.

Sectoral Union of Forces are in Packaging Fair:

Eurasia Packaging Fair received the support of AMD, ESD, KASAD, MASD, OMÜD and SEPA which are the other strong associations of the sector, as well as the long-term support of ASD Packaging Manufacturers Association. The fair is the best indicator of the fact that the sectors adopted the principle of being a collective power, assured stability in unity and gained strength.
